NOTICE OF RACE
Venue
Multihulls The XXV AdR Roma Sail Week Multihull Criterium will be held in Anzio on 20th and 21st March 1999. |
Olympic
Classes The XXV AdR Roma Sail Week Settimana Olimpica Italiana (SOI) for all Olympic Classes will be held from 21st to 27th March 1999 in Anzio. The Roma Sail Week will be the 1999 Italian Regatta of the Eurolymp Circuit and is an ISAF ranked event. |
Organising Authority
The organising authority is the Roma Sail Week Association,
in conjunction with the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV) and the support of
the City of Anzio.
Rules
The regatta shall be governed by:
the ISAF Rules 1997-2000 and relevant appendices,
the Notice of Race,
the Sailing Instructions,
the Class Rules,
the Eurolymp Rules.
Category
The Regatta is classified as a B category event. Any specific
Class Rule concerning advertising is automatically altered, so that all competitors
may display advertising according to Category B.
Yachts may be required to display a sticker of the event sponsor's on either
side on the forward 25% of the hull. Sailboards may be required to display an
advertising on either side of the sail above the wishbone.
International Jury
The Italian Sailing Federation (FIV) will appoint an International
Jury which decision will be final in according to RR App. Q.
Insurance
Each crew must hold a third party liability insurance with a minimum
coverage of 500.000 Euro.
Entries
Racing License (FIV membership card for Italian sailors), Class
Association card for 1999, Measurement or Conformity Certificate and Measurement
Form of the yacht.
Multihulls The advanced entry closing date is 15th March 1999. |
Olympic
Classes The advanced entry closing date is 18th March 1999. |
Prizes
Final prizes will be awarded to the top three competitors in each
class.

Granarolo prize,
the Haribo prize,
the Harken prize,
the Morganti Coffee prize,
the
Mattafioli Ropes prize,
the Nastro Azzurro Beer prize,
etc.
Registration
Multihulls Competitors shall register at the Regatta Office in Anzio on Friday 19th March 1999 up 7:00 pm. |
Olympic
Classes Competitors shall register at the Regatta Office in Anzio from Saturday 20th at 10:00 am to Monday 22rd March 1999 at 19hrs. |

Racing
License and Class Association Card,
Insurance,
Measurement
Certificate and Measurement form of the yacht.
Measurement
Each sail authorised by Class Rules shall be measured and stamped
by an Official Measurer.
Sailing Instructions
Sailing Instruction will be handed to participants upon the registration.

Multihulls The first race of the Multihull Criterium will start at 11:00 am on Saturday 20th March. |
Olympic
Classes The first race of the Olympic Classes will start at 11:00 am on Tuesday 23rd March. |

Mistral, OD: 77.00
Euro;
Finn, Laser, Europe: 93.00 Euro;
Tornado, 49er, 470: 155.00 Euro;
Star, Soling: 200.00 Euro.
Right to Use Name and Images
In participating to the Roma Sail Week (RSW), a competitor automatically
grants to the Organising Authority and the sponsors of RSW, the right in perpetuity,
to make, use and show from time to time and at their discretion, any motion
pictures, still motion pictures and live, taped of film television and other
reproductions of him/her during the period of the competition for the said RSW
in which the competitor participates and in all material related to the said
RSW without compensation.
